The Chishakuin Kaikan Temple Accommodations is located inside the grounds of Chishakuin Temple, the main head temple of the Chisan school of Shingon Buddhism in Higashiyama, Kyoto. Built in Shōwa 41 (1966), the much beloved Chishakuin Kaikan Temple Accommodations, which stood for around 50 years and had grown old, was rebuilt, and given a new life.

With more room types, such as Western and mixed Japanese and Western styles, it is more comfortable than ever. Experience a morning scripture service, unchanged from 400 years ago, in a place separated from the noisy hustle and bustle of the world.
